When should I use LXC instead of a VM?
LXC uses fewer resources but shares the host kernel and is not suitable for every workload. A VM provides stronger isolation and a separate guest operating system. The choice depends on the application, security requirements and backup model.
Can recovery be tested without stopping production?
Often yes. A backup can be restored as a separate test VM or container on an isolated network. The exact method depends on available capacity and the service architecture.
Do you configure Proxmox clusters?
Clustering is evaluated against node count, networking, storage and availability requirements. A cluster does not replace backups and is not always justified for a small environment.
